The roots of Carnes Company CPA PC began in 1990 and our mission is simple; “To provide our clients with the finest professional accounting and tax services, that meet or exceed their needs, on a timely basis and in a confidential and friendly manner.” We believe that our clients deserve our best efforts all of the time. We also hold that the key to this great nation lay in its men and women of entrepreneurial spirit.

Owner, Tom Carnes, began his career with a local firm immediately following graduation (1985) with Magna Cum Laude honors from Huntington University. A son of a small business owner and native to Huntington, he learned early the rewards of setting goals, hard work and honesty.

Tom is an Army veteran, past chairman of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce, member of St. Peter & Paul Parish, and has been active in numerous civic and community activities.

Tom is married and the father of three children.

Autumn L. Teeple CPA has been with Carnes Company CPA PC for over 9 years. Autumn has worked in both industry and public accounting since graduating Magna Cum Laude from Huntington University in 1993. This variety of background allows her to relate to the small business owners, including over the road trucking, as well as prepare financial statements.

Autumn is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, the Forks of the Wabash American Business Women’s Association, and Union Church. Previously, she was a member of Kiwanis and held the Treasurer’s position.

Autumn is married and has two children at home.
